CONSIGNMENT GUIDELINES
WHAT WE TAKE
Silk accepts bridal gowns, veils, and accessories for consignment.
We cannot accept shoes, petticoats or other lingerie items.
We do not accept items older than three years, or items without proof of purchase. Gowns that have been significantly hemmed are also not accepted.
We do not accept items from David's Bridal, or from sites like Azazie, JJ's House, etc., or other special occasion wear.
While all gowns are beautiful, we don't have space to take them all! Dresses that fit our most frequently requested styles will generally take priority when determining what we take on consignment.
HOW IT WORKS
We take in new consignments by appointment only.
During this appointment, we'll fill out your new account paperwork and set pricing.
Then, you just sit back and let us do the work! You'll receive 50% of the selling price of an item after it sells.
Items stay on consignment for six months, anything left unsold after that time will need to be picked up.
WHAT YOU NEED
Your gown and any other accessories you want to consign
A valid copy of your receipt with all gown and price information.
If your dress has been worn, it is required to be cleaned. We offer a cleaning service for $175 through the same company we use for preservation.
A form of payment for the $10 new account set up fee. This is waived if you've purchased a dress with us, or are cleaning your dress through us.
